Kanpus TR

The brief

Kanpus TR is the Turkish-market counterpart to Kanpus. Different exams (YKS, LGS), different stakeholders (parents pay, students learn), and an assistant — KAI — that had to be more than a chat window pretending to be useful.

The challenge

Design a product where three user types (student, parent, tutor) each have a dashboard that actually helps them — without fragmenting the experience or making the student feel surveilled.

How we approached it

• Three distinct surfaces that share a single event stream: what the student does becomes what the parent sees becomes what the tutor can act on.
• KAI — an AI assistant grounded in the Turkish YKS/LGS curriculum, with retrieval over the student's own attempted questions, not just generic explanations.
• Analytics spine built from day one so the team can reason about retention, progress, and intervention opportunities per student.

Outcome

• Active student and parent accounts growing month over month.
• KAI session volume validates the assistant's real utility — students return to it unprompted.
• Parent dashboard adoption is the leading indicator for renewal — a metric the team tracks weekly.
